Every 12th of June is reserve as the world day against child labour. It’s a day aimed to raise awareness and activism to prevent child labour. Africa ranks the highest of children in child labour; which implies many children are engaged in paid and unpaid work which may not be harmful but classified under child labour when they are too young to work or involve in hazardous activities that may compromise their physical, mental and social or educational development. In the midst of COVID-19 and the Cameroon Anglophone crisis ERuDeF Centre for the Advancement of Women’s Initiatives (CAWI) still say;

“ACT NOW: END CHILD LABOUR”
