Pastor Franklin Ndifon founder of Kingship International Ministries and 2018 presidential candidate has died from coronavirus.  Reports say the deceased had claimed he can heal people suffering from the virus and he was lastly spotted in Douala when he went to distribute kits to help fight COVID-19 which included items like buckets, soaps and face masks.

Open sources say in previous weeks, many infected persons had flocked to Kingship International Ministries Church where he laid hands on them and prayed for their healing.

According to reports, Dr Gaelle Nnaga  was called to treat Pastor Ndifor after he started suffering from severe respiratory difficulties just a week after he fell ill. According the Doctor, the pastor died from the virus  10minutes after treatment.

After his death, his family refused to release his corpse, saying he was not dead but on a spiritual retreat with God. The entrance of his house was blocked for about 8 hours by his supporting, as the medical staff tried to retrieve his body. The police had to be involved before they could forcefully release his corpse.

According to one of the followers of the deceased Robert Che, the “prophet” as they referred to him had prayed from several dozens of people who were diagnosed and suspected of having the virus. “Now that he is dead, I don’t know how all the people he laid hands on will be healed”. While some people have criticized the pastor saying if he could heal people from COVID-19, how come he died from the virus. “If the person who claims he can heal people from corona can die, what is the fate of those he claimed he had cured from the virus?”

Many of his supporters are heart-broken as they mourn his death. “A man of great spirituality. This guided his entry into the political arena. If he left this world due to COVID-19, then it must be to remind us of the reality of this pandemic. May his gentle soul rest in peace.”  Said Dr. Gaelle Nnanga.
